Rain will be appearing on various variety shows

Remember that Rain had once mentioned that he was a big fan of 1 Night 2 Days, and hoped to appear on it if possible? While we do not know if his wish would come true, it has been confirmed that Rain (26) will appear on top variety shows on the 3 major television networks in Korea in conjuction with his 5th album comeback. This is indeed a sharp contrast with his past promotional activities when he released his previous four albums under JYP Entertainment and rarely appeared on variety shows. [I only remember seeing him on MBC Come To Play once, but I am not his fan so...hahahaha.] So, why did Rain decide to appear on these representative variety shows all of a sudden?

According to J. Tunes Entertainment, “Because of his overseas work commitments, there isn’t much chance for Rain to interact with his fans. Rain actually wants to interact with his fans very much. So to repay his fans, he is pushing himself to appear on as much variety shows as he can.”

The representative added, “Rain’s 5th album is the first that his company is releasing under his name since breaking out from JYP Entertainment. Rain feels that the album will have a bearing on the company’s success or failure. So he is going all out to make sure it’s a success because he knows everyone is expecting a lot from him and he holds himself responsible.”

For the past 2 years, Rain has been busy in America, trying to enter the US market plus taking up new challenges and showing a different side of him through filming movies. Thus, Rain had to stop promotions in Korea. While he has now become a global star, the interaction between him and his fans (Cloud) has been minimal. In his absence, idol groups like Big Bang, Wonder Girls have sprouted up, fulfiling the general public demands.

With increased comeptition in the music industry, and without the backing of super producer JYP, will Rain continue to impress?

lol... he invite himself to KBS, MBC and SBS???

I wonder if he appear on Family outing will have the same result as TVXQ (the highest rating)... can he be funny and dork??? I don't pay attention to him actually, but I hope he can do better than when he was in JYP Ent....to show that he's able to do it without JYP...

UUhhh I would love to know in which shows he´ll be appearing!!! Guess I´ll have to stay up all night just to see if he´s on tv hahaha

Hopefully, he'll attend FO and Come to Play...especially FO, wanna see how he interact with the Dumb and Dumber and will they be jealous of him getting attention from Hyori and Hyo Jin....wow, that's gonna be so interesting then...
