Looks like the States may not have to wait too long to see the latest from Kim Jee-woon. The highly hyped The Good, The Bad, The Weird has been picked up for US distribution by IFC Films.
The company plans to release the film sometime in the first quarter of 2009 with a small major city theatrical release with a possible expansion to follow.
Though not officially announced, the film seems as a likely candidate for their on-demand outlet known as IFC in Theatres, which can be purchased from your local satellite provider on the same day as its theatrical run.
