Se7en speaks out!

Se7en finally spoke out after he and YG Ent. were bombarded by accusations from fans and netizens saying that Se7en's venture into the U.S. was all just for show....or a poor bluff. He chronicles his life from a young boy to a famous Asian artist who has finally come to the States to fulfill his aspirations of becoming an internationally-reknowned artist. The lengthy autobiographical promo clip brings greater admiration for Se7en and a wistful hope that he may reach the elusive American Dream. Good luck and don't give up, Se7en!

Oh and the first song on the video seems to be a teaser for one of the tracks on his new album. And his English skills are so much better than that of Rain. (At least he's not pointing at swords and saying that they are his girlfriends..Ohohoho boy! Rain needs to wake up. Se7en needs to stay strong.)

Well I have to confess that my opinion of him had a pretty big minus in front. As in below zero. I thought that, first of all, he wasn't ready for the US market, secondly that he wasn't bringing anything new, specific to Korea. But, then again, how new can things be ? music has come a long way and the most shocking things or the farthest boundaries have been pretty much challenged and reached... so you can't expect that much from [ who I think is ] the first Korean singer to try and cross over successfully into the US market.
But again, comparing him to Rain, who has been working in the USA for quite some time and has actually released projects, gave interviews and so on ... Se7en is a world apart. However scripted the speech and the video above may have been, it's clear that he ha lost most of his accent and tried really hard to make he best out of the 4 minutes he had available. So yeah ... the music in the background was nice to listen too, like I said, nothing spectacular in terms of originality, but not at all bad and potentially addictive after a few replays.
All in all, go Se7en !! I'm now anticipating his album !

i want him back to Korea! no doubt about that!
but wish him luck since i respect his dream .. even though i don't think anything really comes out of all these 2 years of work .. since he defi is not ready .. and his English is not yet polish enough to run a conversation with press and it makes my heart bleed ... thinking about all the things (precious moments with fans, awesome music, and many more awards) he lost along the way being away from Korea!

His English is really good. Honestly I didn't think he'd make it tht well in the US but he did.
The songs in the background sounds really awesome and I think his album is gonna sell quite alot. Looking forward to it. :)
