TaeYang's childhood dream was actually acting

Big Bang member TaeYang who is 21 years old in the coming year, has actually participated in acting when he was young.

He has particpated in the movie "Besame Mucho" which was screened in 2001 with artistes Lee Mi Suk and Jung Gwang Ryul. The filming took place in 2000 when TaeYang was still in elementary 6th grade. He had acted as the friend to Lee Mi Suk and Jung Gwang Ryul's son in the show, this was TaeYang's first acting experience.

This fact which was only known now to many fans and some of the comments from his music fans are, "(He was) really cute." and "His voice is the same be it then or now."

A representative of YG Entertainment said, "TaeYang has wanted to do acting when he was young. He has taken acting classes at acting schools when he was in elementary school."

Exactly how did someone who wish to do acting became a singer eventually? TaeYang first started out as a singer when he joined as Little Jinusean in 2001. He was selected during YG Entertainment's audition and has performed in Jinusean's MV "A-YO" which had also made him known in the music scene. He had then became a singer trainee and had a vision to be a singer then.

The YG representative has revealed, "Then, TaeYang's parents had wanted him to be an actor. But TaeYang was already promoting as part of Little Jinusean and his potential as a singer was really obvious, coupling with the fact that he had trained very earnestly to be a singer."

TaeYang has trained for the next 5 years after that and had debuted as part of Big Bang in 2006.

But that does not mean that TaeYang has thrown away the dream to be an actor. He will be enroling for theatrical movie course in university in academic year 2008.

"Right now, TaeYang is concentrating on his music, but we do not know when he will try acting again. TaeYang has also expressed an interest in this field," said the YG representative.
