To SYP readers, sorry for the ambiguous article on Kim Jang Hoon - the Korean media held back certain details till now. (Take a close look at the picture above - that could be your next favorite artist. )

Kim Jang Hoon seems to have collapsed due to overwork. In the previous article, I thought that he may have slipped due to the wet stage (It was raining that night). Unfortunately, that was not the case. He got only 1 hour of sleep the night before because of his intense preparation for the upcoming "West Coast Festival" concert to help victims of the oil spill.

Singer Kim Jang Hoon had a special concert to help out and encourage volunteers and workers cleaning out at oil spill in the west coast called "West Coast Festival" on 28th June. The concert started at 7.30 pm and at about 9.35pm when he was performing the song "Champion", he fell down in the middle of the stage.

Staff had ran up the stage to help him up as he was unable to get up on his own. He was immediately sent to the neighbourhood hospital in an ambulance, and had only recovered consciousness in the ambulance on the way. He is right now resting in the hospital.

A phone interview done with Kim Jang Hoon's representative on 29th June morning, it was said that Kim Jang Hoon had fell due to exhaustion from overwork - he had not more than 1 hour of sleep in the preparation of his concert.

Fortunately, he did not suffer from any major injury in this incident.

another celebrity collapsed because of overworking ? Jeeze, those manager really need to take care of their artist more...

Its becoming a big problem.

Actually, it already was but it happens so frequently that sometimes its not even declared newsworthy.

It really scares me how these stars are being used. My love for Kim JangHoon aside, it no longer matters how big an artist is, the insatiable fan culture and also insatiable moneyhungry companies need to take a step back and see what their doing to these individuals. Isnt it enough their collapsing on stage and puking out of stress, do we want another round of suicides to snap the industry in to place? I know some artists push themselves harder, but pressure from fans and their labels does not help.

God this is taking the piss.

Ohdear! First I must say SuJu members are really nice to go visit him! (haha he's a sunbae after all)...and do get well soon, Kim Jang Hoon!! :/ I guess every popular artiste out there is overworked. This is really sad. Even though they are entertainers (singers, actors etc.) it doesn't mean they aren't human and that they have to sacrifice their health just to make/keep fans happy or make money for their respective companies...Health is wealth! :X
