Gummy to stop promotional activities temporarily due to laryngitis

Singer Gummy will stop all promotional activities for the moment due to laryngitis. [Laryngitis is the inflammation of the larynx]

YG Entertainment announced on 23rd May that "As Gummy is down with laryngitis, she will stop promotional activities and rest for the time being. The possible cause may be that she had had a comeback after some time and with the busy schedule. The current plan is that we will cancel all broadcasting programs' schedules"

Gummy had a comeback in March with her 4th album "Comfort" that features songs like "I'm Sorry" which topped music charts and Gummy's popularity has since been picking up when she participated in many broadcasting programs.

Gummy had a similar situation for the promotion of her first album where she had experienced discomfort in her vocal cords. She had since been cautious with the condition of her vocal cords for the promotion of her albums.

A representative of YG Entertainment had said that Gummy had difficulty with singing live and recently her physical state has also been at a worrying condition. And the case is that she had a comeback after so long, and doing promotional activities by herself extensively this period, had most probably caused that.
