Introducing T-Ara!

T-Ara is a group under Mnet company 3 years in the making. And the group members come from different backgrounds - singer, actress and talents. The members to the group are JiYeon, Eun Jung, Hyo Min, Ji Won and Ji Ae.


T-Ara has also already sang for the OST song ‘Good Person Ver 1′ to MBC drama ‘Cinderella Man’.

Out of the 5 members, JiYeon has also recently released a digital single “Female Generation/Forever Love’ with Davichi and SeeYa, and she was the first member of T-Ara to be made known. She has also modelled with group SHINee for SMART CF in 2008. Not only so, she had appeared in several MVs like SG Wannabe’s ‘Saranghae’ and ‘My love is crying’, and had been given the nickname of ‘2nd Kim TaeHee’ for her resemblance to actress Kim Tae Hee.

For the rest of the 4 members, they are all quiped in dancing, singing and acting skills. Member JiWon recently starred in the movie ‘GoSa’, ‘More Than Blue’; Eun Jung also recently appeared in movie ‘GoSa’; Hyo Min had appeared in FT Island’s ‘Heaven’ MV.

The girls will start filming for their upcoming MV on the 26th.

They remind me of Kara. By the way, is "T-Ara" suppose to be pronounced as "tiara?"

They do remind me of Kara, but I hope their vocals are much better. Kara's vocals are a bit... painful? Don't get me wrong, I love them but yeah...

Any who, I do think T-Ara is pronounced as "tiara" 'cause that's how I've been saying it this whole time xD Good luck on their debut though.

I think the industry has too many girl groups. So I probably won't particularly like this one.
