IU - a new star is born!

A new star is born! IU joins the ranks of numerous new artists who deluged this year's Kpop stage, but she truly shines amongst them all.

IU debuted on September 18, performing her new single "Miya" on Mnet. She showed off surprisingly strong vocals and a powerful, captivating performance. Her debut song is exceptional, displaying a hybrid pop sound with dramatic strings in the background.



This young girl is only 15 years old! She is part of LOEN Entertainment and recently released her first album "Lost and Found". As a new singer, she has found support and praise from many old, established artists, such as Gummy and Yoo Hae Yeol (Toy) for her strong vocals. Singer Jung Jae Hyung from group BEIGE commented, "She shows a lot of potential. I'm looking forward to her improvement in the future."

Wow, she's really good and the song is nice too.
However, if she wants to succeed, she needs to work on her stage performance.
She has the voice and sound good live but the way she holds her mike and the way she just stares forward at the crowd when singing, looks really awkward.
Maybe she's really nervous XD
