it seems so generic ... and not really special in any way!

I've got it! This epiphany struck me as I was going to class....the reason that everyone has mixed feelings about MIROTIC, including myself, is because the song is in a genre set apart from the current trend and characteristic of DBSK. I understand Shenyue, when she says that MIROTIC sounds generic, but I have to differ and say that this song is of a GENRE that typifies "old-school" kpop. But Mirotic is brilliant in showing that "old school" kpop was not abandoned and has been constantly evolving. And I have to say say that DBSK's kpop dance song epitomizes this evolution and I'm secretly looking forward to the dance performance that will complement this song. Therefore, DBSK's new single shouldn't be compared to recent hits by Big Bang and SHINee (or other groups) because they are of a completely different genre. DBSK is not following the R&B/Motown trend and is rather sticking with their original style that has matured over the years. Wish them the best of luck, along with the other idol groups soon to follow.
