So the teasar of the debut song came out in today's press conference in seoul!
LSM specially prepared 2 different versions .. one for Korea, the other one for the USA!

How is everyone doing? well around the web everyone is fired up in anger to the SM!
The American version seemed like a cheap early 90s peice! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING LSM?
I would go with the Korean version any day! but, man his is going to be bad!

Any one feeling the song though? Seriously, is THIS all that they have been hiding? PUHHHHH!
The song strangly sounds like the USA deut song of those Russian DUO lesbian number who debuted many years ago ... Anyone remembers them? .. what was their name? tATu .... Eish....
compared to this BOA's 2008 peice tATu's debut song is a price winner! Arrrrrrrrrrg!

BoA also showed up for her "Best of Asia, Bring on America" press conference wearing an arm cast with SM CEO pervert Lee Soo Man by her side.



Is she trying to pull off a "Bae Young-Joon" ? (The Hallyu actor showed up at the "Movie is a Movie" premier in an arm cast. Not to mention other numerable appearances in crutches and what not. At this rate, he'll just crumble like a cookie in a few years.) I guess she wanted the kind of sympathy that Bae Young-Joon gets from his Japanese ahjumma fans. Anyway, BoA supposedly fell down the stairs at the SM office. Watch your step next time BoA. She's going to need that arm fully recovered by November before she officially comes to the U.S., or she'll be looking silly. She needs her dance moves to salvage her mediocre/amateur debut in the U.S.



BoA and Lee Soo Man presented the rest of the U.S. producing team. They also revealed her title song "Eat You Up" that was produced by Bloodshy and Avant, and showcases a powerful "reverse beat" arrangement. BoA's album is a U.S. production, bringing together top-notch producers Bloodshy and Avant (who worked with Madonna, Britney Spears, and Jennifer Lopez) and Max Gousse (Beyonce, Usher, Justin Timberlake) as project manager.

ya the korean versions better..would totally make it in the usa. but the us version is just sorry..wasn't really feeling the song..ionno if they gonna take her seriously though..america is more of hip hoppish rockish..etc. vibe..and boa with her innocent cute girl next door looks who doesn't really look like she can speak english...ionno if they gonna notice how talented she is..maybe on the news watever..but it'll only be a while..it'll rub off..i hope she'll make it..i'll be rooting in the usa!

BoA is a cannibal....haha! Is it just me or does the song seem too much like kpop. She still isn't able to take off her kpop/Asian vibe - the song feels misplaced in the U.S. pop market. It's not a bad song; in fact, it's a pretty good song - just not suitable for the U.S. And of course, like Se7en and Rain, her accent is terrible (i.e. "The pinest thing in history"). Koreans have trouble with "f" and "r" sounds. And last but not least, the fire-rain and chandelier looks really tacky like something out of final fantasy or some anime. She doesn't look sexy or bad-ass, but at best "cute". And her vocals can't compensate for her cultural/linguistic inadequacies. Overall, she falls SHORT of hope in succeeding in the U.S. market (no pun intended on her height).

she's going to need all the help she can get if she wants to pull this off ... I don't know ... she's very generic, very 90s pop[ which is a general characteristic of her k songs]. And all the artists that are successful now in the USA and the world for that matter, are people who are different, original, daring and with strong vocals or strong presence . She does not have any of those 2. It would pretty much be a miracle if she would succeed with this song anywhere outside Asia !

And also, I forgot to add, you know when you listen to a song for the first time and then you like it quite a lot, good eats nice melody, easy to follow overall, so some time goes y a couple of hours lets say, and you start humming the song . I listened to her song 4 times today and I couldn't remember the melody if my life depended on it, even a hour after listening to it . That's pretty bad for a song that has to have such an impact over a pretentious nation like America . We'll see what happens... I'm quite curious !

I must disagree, I found her English surprisingly good. Seriously, I was expecting a lot worse because I can actually understand. I like the song as well and I'm prepared to spend a whole lotta cash on this.

I must agree though that the music video is like cleaning shit with shit.

Woah! Her English improved, but she didn't! Sorry, but I don't think that song and her can make it in the U.S. I'd rather wait for Utada's album! >_<. And the video is... Kinda boring, and it's not interesting, the dance moves are, but she isn't!

What the hell???!! Yes i have to say the song isn't bad... but i listened to it like 3 minutes ago... how does it go? That's horrible.

My dad knows i'm an Anti-BoA and when i played the song for him he said "I don't think it's that good" then i said it's from BoA he started saying i love it and all. He's just a fan because he doesn't like me being an anti. haha.

idk, LSM is PRETTY fast man, he announced it this PLAN this year and now she is debuting ......soon....WOW~

I think the Korean MV version suits US better and also they should have came up with a better song or song name.

well i prefer da korean version MUCH more den da US version except for da skeleton tees she's wearing..
da song is ok but somehow when i listen to it there's a feeling like she is struggling to pronounce da words..
maybe is because of da beat, i dunno..
anyway i was hoping da mv to be more special..i like da dance though..^^

i actually like it. besides that was only a preview. i can judge more when i see the whole vid.

well she's definitely got an advantage being one of the few female singers that actually dance (in america)
but i wish they'd change the lyrics/meaning of the song and made a better mv :/ catchy song though but no one is going to like it when the lyrics are saying "i'm gonna eat you up"

I think this song (beat) would better suit her KOREAN comeback..
