Taeyang: “TVXQ are our sunbaes who motivate us”

Big Bang’s Taeyang, who has released his own solo single “Hot,” has expressed respect for TVXQ. During his interview with JOYNEWS24, Taeyang said, “TVXQ’s comeback in the later half of the year, coincides with Big Bang’s activitiy period, and so our activities will overlap.” Taeyang also stated that TVXQ and Big Bang have different music styles, but TVXQ is still a group with tremendous talent. ” After watching TVXQ’s performances and hearing their songs, I was very touched.”

“Just like we are beginning in Japan now, TVXQ had the same determination when they began to venture into Japan. Seeing their activities in Japan makes me believe that they have real talent.” All of Big Bang’s members really like TVXQ, and Taeyang also said, “This time, our activities and promotions will give us Big Bang and TVXQ a chance to get close with each other.”

Since TVXQ is mostly in Japan, they seem to never meet on stage. I really wanna see these groups interactions and a special stage performance would be great although it is somehow will be kind of weird.

I hate it when people keep comparing them. In my opinion, they are two different groups that totally can't be compared. They have different styles in music and fashion sense. So, I don't think it's wise for fans to fight to prove which one of them is the greatest especially when both of them will be releasing their new album at almost the same time this year end. I like both group and I listen to both of their music. TVXQ is still one of my favorite group. It's just that if I'm required to choose only one, I'll definitely choose Big Bang.

I totally agree with you strawberrybj.....

But most of these comparisons are not actually formed by fans of the respective groups but by the Korean media. The media gets so out of control and uses borderline trashy gossip mag. techniques of journalism because that's all they can pull of their ass. And this is by actual "professional" news sites. I totally agree, Big Bang shouldn't be compared with DBSK - not because one is far more talented than the other, but simply because they are so disparate in their genres and styles.

it would be a good collab. probably better than anything super junior has put out.

it's impossible to compare them. cuz they have different success stories. =P

ya..cant compare them at all..each of them have their own uniqueness..
both different styles of music but if they have a collab that will be very interesting..

The comparison thingy is never ending....they are 2 different groups that present 2 different genres of music and each group has their own personal characteristics....

Maybe they could collaborate in the future! Because both of them are amazing & talanted.
