Big Bang, “Comeback artiste Seo Taiji is the best of the best”

One of the top idol groups of 2008, Big Bang welcomes Seo Taiji’s comeback.

Big Bang has always looked up to Seo Taiji as a seonbae singer with respect, with Seo Taiji’s impending comeback, they said, “Seo Taiji is a respected senior and his return to the music scene is both an exciting and honourable thing.”

And amongst Big Bang members, GDragon and TOP has called Seo Taiji “best of the best”.

Big Bang’s previous minialbum “Hot Issue” has includes sampling song “Crazy Dog” from Seo Taiji and Boys‘ “환상속에 그대”.

Seo Taiji do not normally allow for use of his songs for sampling by other artistes and when the use of ‘환상속에 그대’ for sampling for Big Bang’s 2nd minialbum was allowed, it had caused a lot of interests from music fans.

Big Bang said, “We have listened to a lot of Seo Taiji’s music and we are looking forward to his new album. It will be of help for future music production. A public performance for Seo Taiji’s 15th debut anniversary was held last year, we have wanted to participate in the performance too, but we have to perform for our Guerilla concert too, it was a shame that we could not participate.”

Big Bang who will be coming out with their 3rd minialbum “Stand Up” on 8th August, will be promoting their music at the same together with Seo Taiji, making it a even more meaningful comeback for them.

Meanwhile Seo Taiji released his 8th album’s first single on 29th August after 4 years and 6 months.
