2NE1 after all, ‘I Don’t Care’ is #1 up on music charts

Wed Jul 01, 2009 8:26 pm by RiceRiceBaby

2NE1 released their new song ‘I Don’t Care’ title song off their 1st minialbum on 1st July at 2pm, and has received overwhelming responses.

The song is already up #1 on real time charts, giving them the names as ‘the best new singers’. Bringing another new meaning from the ‘war of the girlgroups’ with other groups like So Nyeo Shi Dae and 4Minute.

YG said, “We are very surprised the song went up to #1 as soon as it is revealed. I think that it will be great if the responses for their activities be as good.”

The song is a R&B pop number with a reggae melody and medium tempo, written by Kush and Teddy. All eyes are on the girls if they will have consecutive 3 hits with their previous hits like ‘Lollipop’ and ‘Fire’.

The girls will release their 1st minialbum on 8th July.

So Nyeo Shi Dae’s 2nd minialbum 3 times better selling as ‘Gee’

Wed Jul 01, 2009 8:17 pm by RiceRiceBaby

It is said that So Nyeo Shi Dae’s new song ‘Tell me Your Wish’ is faster selling as compared to their previous hit ‘Gee’ released earlier this year.

According to Hanteo, ‘Tell Me Your Wish’ has sold over 24K copies offline in just 2 days into its release. Back then with the song ‘Gee’, So Nyeo Shi Dae managed to sell over 23K copies only after 1 week into its release.

The girls are also hitting the 100K mark for all their 3 albums released, a sales volume that even the country’s best male idol group will find it hard to achieve.

It seems that the song ‘Tell Me Your Wish’ is gaining popularity faster than ‘Gee’, the song went up to realtime chart at #1 on the day of its release on 22nd June.

The song then went up to #6 immediately on 23rd June on music charts, ‘Gee’ had went up to #10 positions on music charts on first time back then. And right now the song is up #1 on various music charts, bringing back the So Nyeo syndrome.

Damn straight and it's only gonna get more popularity! Go Soshi Go!

KBS Music Bank Accident Much More Severe Than First Reported

Fri Jun 26, 2009 6:47 pm by RiceRiceBaby

credits to kahboon

Initial news reports over the collapse of KBS Music Bank's lighting structure and SHINee leader Onew's subsequent fainting understated the chaos and severity of the whole debacle. Netizens are suspecting that KBS is trying to keep their endangerment of our favorite pop stars on the down low, but in the Internet era, constricting information on a public event is a near-impossibility. Fancams which show the extent of the accident are starting to pop up, with fans of all groups appalled at the music show's lack of care for their dangerously large equipment.

Fortunately, other than Onew (who is stable and resting), nobody was hospitalized. But the potential danger from a falling light structure, coupled with KBS's immediate attempt to cover up the entire incident, is very disconcerting for all K-pop fans. Hopefully this near-disaster serves as a wake-up call to music shows and music companies, who should ensure the safety of their staff and stars.
Sources:allkpop

On allkpop, the videos weren't so clear. So I searched Youtube. Luckily I found a fancam that's clear. @1:30 you can see that Onew fainted, and his manager is holding him up. @2:28 His manager is carrying him away,@2:44 Taemin, Minho, and SJ's leader Leeteuk followed.
I heard SJ' Siwon and Kyuhyun helped prop the lighting back up, but I'm not sure.
My goodness, what a disaster. First, Onew slipped onstage while performing, becuz 2NE1 performed earlier to "Umbrella," and there was water on the stage. He basically was limping in his performance. Then the lights fell, and the shock of it all, caused the poor kid to faint.

Heechul's Nude Pics

Mon Jun 22, 2009 6:21 pm by RiceRiceBaby

It's Super Junior member Kim Hee-chul, as he explains on “Shin Dong-yup & Shin Bong-sun’s Champagne” (which aired at 11:20 on June 20). Hee-chul also said that “Han-Kyung was the one who took nude photos of him, and that he was really annoying at first but in the end he still did it for me.” Hee-chul also said that Han-Kyung had lost his cellphone once before and made him felt like fainting.

Well Han-Kyung, this is why you don’t take nude photos of other people. Don’t you know about the Vanessa Hudgens & Edison Chen incidents? I’m pretty sure that now, there are alot of fangirls/boys that are starting a rage and gawking at who can find his phone first.

Sources:popseoul

Sorry ladies, I couldn't get those nude pics (not like I saw it, thank GOD).

I wanna laugh and vomit at the same time. But, I can't. I have to choose one............I'll just laugh, it's a lot more fun than vomiting! ROFL!!!!!

Geez, Heechul you really are something else.
