SS501 Were Told to Lose 10kg for Their Comeback

Boy band SS501 has been told to go on a diet and lost 10kg, which are making them the center of attention.
They had been working hard in Japan but on the 13th, they released their 3rd single and on 'M!Countdown', they had their first comeback stage with the title song 'Deja vu'.

That day, SS501 showed a more mature side to themselves. Especially member Kim Kyujong has lost so much weight that he had become unrecognizable which startled a lot of people. That day, when he met with a journalist Kyujong said 'I went on a diet and lost 9kg' and gave a shy smile. Another member Park Jungmin has said 'I also lost about 7kg' and said it as if he was proud of it.

The reason that SS501 lost weight was because of their recording company. For them to succeed, they bought clothes that were one size smaller than what they would normally wear and until they could fit into it, the dieted. One person said 'The thing about being on TV is that even if you slightly gain weight you look really fat', and 'they dieted through exercise and through this the members became more masculine'

That day, SS501 sang their title song 'Deja vu' with 'My Destiny' and 'A song calling for you' and gained a lot of cheers.

Any ways not much like the final composition though ... but I guess they wanted to fit the dances and the dances are not that special !

However, its whole lot better, than what initially they come up with!
Let's see if this time they get the attention they deserve!

i heard AtoZ (DBSK dancer) were part of this helping them to chreograph their dance

if you don't beleive me .. just compare the random people next to the celebs with them ... they all look so chubby compared to these celebs ... in real life .. these are really normal in size!

Yay! SS501! HyunJoong!! YoungSaeng!!! XP I thought the MV had a teeny bit of the "O Jung Ban Hap" feeling in it. The setting was like the intro of O Jung Ban Hap (Korean ver.)...but the song and all that was quite different. phew. I thought their comeback was pretty good. Hope they will become really successful too. As for the part about losing weight...sigh. *agrees with what everyone has said about this.* I just hope they stay healthy yea~

gosh...they shouldn't keep saying that double S in the song...it makes it sound like they're saying double ass....:)

10 kilos? insane. i think they were skinny enough for guys. why is the weight so important? i mean it's crazy when their company buy them one size smaller clothes. is it because they can't afford SS501's right-sized clothes?

Wow, no wonder they look so different. Although I was a bit surprise to find them all looking different, but they still look awesome to me. Thanx for sharing the info. (^__^)
